Stacks have produced the first decent looking pair of Circular polarized a/k/a RealD 3D glasses. “We noticed that we were unable to find any RealD glasses that didn’t look like a space alien’s Oakleys from 1984. The same ones you are asked to wear in theaters. Stacks is not an eyewear company, but we do make products that fit our lifestyle, and this is one we felt was worthwhile.” They double as sunglasses, sans UV protection. Now available online in the Stacks Shop and later this week at Project Space in Los Angeles.
As part of their Summer 2010 Collection, Bape has come out with new colorways of their low top interprestation of the Puma Clyde – the Crape sneaker. It comes in two classic suede colorways and will be released at the Bape Los Angeles store on May 23rd.
Redhawk Arts Council will host “Gateway to Nations” Native American Heritage Celebration. The event will be held at Brooklyn’s Floyd Bennett Field, Gateway National Recreation Area. The celebration is the largest Native American gathering in New York City. The festival brings over 1,000 Native American artists and performers together demonstrating the finest in Native American song, dance, food, art and crafts. read more

ABSOLUT gets together with Spike Lee to design their latest limited edition vodka bottle – ABSOLUT Brooklyn.“The bottle features a depiction of a brownstone with the number from Lee’s childhood home in Cobble Hill and bears his name on the bottle. Inside the bottle is a vodka flavored with apple and ginger. It has a retail price of $29.99 . Each of the city editions of Absolut has a charitable initiative attached, as part of this campaign Absolut is donating $50,000 to Habitat for Humanity to help fund an affordable homes project in Bedford-Stuyvesant.”

Chrome Hearts got together with prestigious bike manufacturer Cervelo to collaborate on a racing bike. The bike comes with custom Chrome Hearts graphics, leathers, precious metals and rhinestones. We are not sure how comfortable the decoration on the saddle is when riding though.
Artist Usugrow is back with a new version of his popular Rebel Ink vinyl figure. Produced by Secretbase, the figure not only takes on Usugrow’s signature look, but is also printed front and back with extensive pieces of the artist’s work.

As we get closer to the Worldcup, one Nike Stadium store after the other is opening its doors. So far we have seen Milan, Berlin and London. Today we can give you a first look at the opening of the Nike Stadium Paris, which presents the Black Magic exhibition.“Sanghon Kim presented yesterday the first chapter of an antagonist story, called Black Magic. The installation deals with the growing mystical influence of Africa, on football first but also on the world. Sanghon – a French/Korean artist – gives a dark/gothic interpretation of the idea of “Group of death”, through three countries: Portugal, Côte d’Ivoire and Brazil.
His work plays with the concept of building a modern mythology of sports, inspired by the true legends of three major Nike football players transfigured into gods by Magic.
Each of them has a magic colour (orange for Côte d’Ivoire, yellow for Brasil, dark red for Portugal), a magic animal – the elephant, the jaguar and the dragon (for St Georges’ myth), a magic number (11, 10, 7), a spell (strength, agility, speed) and also a magic football boot.”

Next to the Shark Figures, A Bathing Ape will be offering an entire Shark Collection to celebrate the 1st anniversary of their Bapelandstore. The collection consists of zip-up hoodies, matching sweat-pants, denim and also a Shark Bapesta in 4 mixed colorways and two metallic colorways. All sneakers feature the Bape shark logo on the heel. Furthermore Bape is releasing a t-shirt and a mug for the 1st anniversary of Bapeland. Look out for a release of all this product very soon.
Vans have collaborated with children’s crayon company Crayola to release a lively take on the Sk8-hi, Authentic and Slip-on. All three feature the broken colouring that you’d expect from a kids colouring book. The sneaker all come with a coloring book made by Crayola specifically for Vans. Look out for a release later this year.
